Qatar Foundation is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1995 on the personal initiative of His Highness Sheikh sheikh

Children's Arts and Literature Festival, Kingdom of Bahrain

An important and unique initiative for children by H.H. Shaikha Hala Bint Daij Al-Khalifa, Spouse of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikha Hala inaugurated the festival, themed "For a better Future", in 2002, and plans an annual international event every year.

George Rodrigue

George Rodrigue: renowned artist, and creator of the Blue Dog Series known by collectors around the world. Rodrigue is a featured artist of the 2003 International ChildArt Festival, and has created an original silkscreen in support of the Festival. Titled "Honesty', it features a collage of artwork by children from around the world.

Commission on the Arts and Humanities

Since 1968, the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C. (the capital of the United States).  Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH DCCAH District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities ) has developed and promoted local artists, organizations, and activities as part of its mission to enrich the quality of life of the people of Washington.
