IBS America, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of Internet-based software and services for quality and compliance management, today announced that the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's East Europe, Africa and Middle East (EEAME) business unit has gained full regional certification for quality, safety and environmental standards using its QSi System.

"Achieving a combined regional certificate covering all three disciplines--quality, environmental, and health and safety--in our six manufacturing facilities and our regional headquarters within a 12 month time frame was an incredibly ambitious goal," said Michelle Woodward, environmental, health and safety manager for the tire maker in Europe. "With QSi System, we built a process that allows us to audit, edit and manage the business management procedures of all seven locations at the same time and by remote."

A comprehensive, turnkey, paper-free business management solution, QSi System enabled Goodyear to combine three management disciplines into a single process, dramatically reducing the administration time and ensuring best practices are applied to the entire management spectrum. Its newly created Business Process Management System (BPMS (Business Process Management Suite or System) See BPM. ) allows Goodyear to continually improve processes more efficiently at lower costs than ever before.

For example, if a particular management procedure is revised, it can be changed simultaneously across all six manufacturing sites ensuring improvements are made in a timely fashion. According to Woodward, "Operating the same methods but within different languages can be shared across a consistent template. We can compare results of safety and environmental impact assessments across our plants and utilize best practice. We can ensure that instead of 18 procedures for document control we have one ensuring that our corporate and compliance regimes are consistently met."

"IBS technology brings unmatched flexibility to management systems projects that organizations such as BVQi can develop for their customers," said IBS America, Inc.
