IBM wins next stage of CDA project in Dubai.

ARMONK, N.Y.--Following a successful consulting engagement with the Community Development Agency in Dubai in late 2008, IBM has signed a $2.4 million contract to develop an initial Case Management solution, based on Siebel, announced IBM.

The project will give CDA a baseline solution covering three business processes which will allow them to start to embed the concept of case working into their developing organization. CDA, IBM and Oracle will work with the client to customize Siebel to deliver the CDA specific workflows and integrate it into the existing telephony and financial systems.

The solution will continue to use the IBM Social Industry Model, and the CDA Component Business Modeling, developed in 2008, as the basis for the process design.

The team will include resources from Dubai, supported by Global Delivery for the Siebel build phase. Additional support will be provided by Nigel Sadler and Chris Brailey from the Global Social team and Aeriel Wolanow from the CEEMEA CRM Tiger Team.
