IBM SurePOS 700 latest platform for 360Commerce software solution.


360Commerce, a provider of integrated commerce software for retailers, announced today that their store optimization software Free and Open Source software
  • ASCEND — mathematical modelling system
  • OpenOpt (license: BSD) — toolbox with connections to lots of solvers, for Python language programmers
  • COIN-OR SYMPHONY — integer programming, Common Public License
 is now running on IBM's newest platform, the SurePOS(tm) 700.

Adding the SurePOS 700 to the list of hardware options, including IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  SurePOS 300, 500, 600, and 750 series, IBM 4694, Wincor Nixdorf Wincor Nixdorf (FWB: WIN) is a corporation that provides retail and retail banking hardware, software, and services. As expected, our application ran flawlessly on the new platform, further demonstrating the portability of our Java-based applications as well as the openness of IBM's new SurePOS 700 family."
