IBM LEADS TOP 10 CORPORATE DONORS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS; FORD FOUNDATION IS BIGGEST DONOR AMONG PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS

 DETROIT, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- IBM gave $118,300,000 in cash and nonmonetary donations to charities in 1992, more than any other corporation. Leading a list of private foundation givers was the Ford Foundation, with contributions totaling $261,998,000. The Taft Group released these figures in its annual top 10 givers lists.
