The labs consist of seven research universities located on four different continents. Japan have obtained positive results from a trial of an RFID-based drug tracking system. The trial, which used 60 different Mitsubishi Pharma Mitsubishi Pharma Corporation (三菱ウェルファーマ株式会社 products, was conducted at the Kyoto Medical Center from March 6 to 16. In the trial, the partners verified the usability of the tracking system and succeeded in monitoring the entire flow of drug use, from shipment to administration.
