IBM Filed Suit Against Informix.
IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) Corp. of Armonk, NY filed a patent lawsuit lawsuit: see procedure; tort. against Informix Corp. in the U.S. District Court in Delaware, alleging that the Informix software utilizes technology patented by IBM from 1981 to 1992, and dealing with such matters as the way data are stored and linked together to other data.
