This package includes ProNotes Voice Tools(TM) and the IBM VoiceType Dictation(TM) for Windows offerings. ProNotes Voice Tools are sets of custom controls that developers working with Visual Basic(R), C, and C++ can incorporate into their applications, making them voice capable. Among the controls are Voice Notator(TM) (a voice playback and record panel), Press Panel(TM) (a voice command button), List Assist(TM) (a voice list box), Voice Window(TM) (a dictation window), and Sonar Tool(TM) (a voice navigator). When included in an application, the tools allow a developer to dictate notes and letters, perform voice data entry (such as forms fill), navigate around the application by using voice commands and voice activate any programmable computer events. ProNotes Voice Tools will be offered as Visual Basic custom controls (VBXs), as well as 16- and 32-bit OLE custom controls (programming) OLE custom controls - (OCX) An Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) custom control allowing infinite extension of the Microsoft Access control set. OCX is similar in purpose to VBX used in Visual Basic. (OCXs).
