) today announced that in light of its proposed merger with Infolocity, Inc., which is currently pending IATR shareholder approval, the Board of Directors has proposed that the name of the Company be changed to NetCurrents, Inc. to more closely reflect the new focus on Internet-related technologies and services.

In addition, the Board has proposed that the Company's trading symbol Trading symbol

 be changed to "NTCS."

The proposed new name and symbol will be put to a vote of the Company's shareholders at the upcoming stockholder meeting scheduled for December 16, 1999.

About IAT Resources, Inc.
