IASB Advisors Named.


FEI's CEO and President and four FEI members are among those appointed to the Standards Advisory Council (SAC), formed by the Trustees of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation to provide advice to the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB IASB - Illinois Association of School Boards
IASB - Indiana Association for School Broadcasters
IASB - Internal Auditing Standards Board
IASB - International Accounting Standards Board
IASB - International Association of Speakers Bureaus (formerly International Group of Agencies and Bureaus)
) on priorities for setting standards.

FEI President and CEO Phil Livingston; David Shedlarz, EVP & CFO, Pfizer, Inc.; Keith Sherin, CFO, General Electric Co.; David Sidwell, CFO, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.; and Trevor Harris, Managing Director, Equity Research and Head of Global Valuation at Morgan Stanley are included in the 49-member SAC, drawn from 6 continents, 29 countries and 5 international organizations. The group includes chief financial and accounting officers from some of the worlds largest corporations and international organizations, leading financial analysts and academics, regulators, accounting standard-setters and partners from leading accounting firms. The European Commission, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Services Agency of Japan will participate as observers. The group next meets with the IASB and the IASC IASC - Indexing and Abstracting Society of Canada
