IARW, WFLO and IRTA elect new officers at Annual Industry Convention in Phoenix.New officers and directors of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses The International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses(IARW) came into existence in 1891 when a number of conventional warehouse men took on the demands of storing perishable food and soon realized the increased challenge and complexity of operating temperature controlled storage (IARW IARW International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses ), the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO) and the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) were chosen recently at the IARW-WFLO-IRTA Annual Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. Ray Tarnowski of Philadelphia Warehousing & Cold Storage Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was elected as chairman of the IARW. Other IARW officers elected for the coming year were Vice Chairman Michael Henningsen, Jr. of Henningsen Cold Storage Company, Hillsboro, Oregon, USA; and Treasurer Larry Laurin of Conestoga Cold Storage, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Other new WFLO officers were also elected, including Vice Chairman Don Schoenl of Nordic Cold Storage, LLC, Atlanta Georgia, USA; and Treasurer Derk Van Mackelenbergh of Eurofrigo B.V./Nichirei Corp., Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Stephen Galati of Mattioni, Ltd., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was chosen as IRTA vice chairman. Chris Kozak of Willis Shaw Express, Elm Springs, Arkansas Elm Springs is a city in Washington County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,044 at the 2000 census.
