IACSC directory available Feb, 2002. (Literature).The International Association of Cold Storage Contractors (IACSC), established in 1978 to promote standards of practice and the interests of the cold storage construction industry, will publish and release the 2002 Annual Membership and Services Directory in February. This directory is aimed at assisting companies to locate contractors and suppliers to construct plants, warehouses and other facilities where expertise in cold storage design and construction is needed. The directory also includes detailed information and a membership application for firms which may wish to join IACSC. Regular membership is available to firms that contract, subcontract or assemble cold storage facilities. Proper insulation and assembly of cold storage facilities is a specialized trade requiring involvement in cold storage from the conception stage to final assembly. Associate membership is open to those companies which supply products ranging from foam insulation to insulated panels or doors plus architects, engineers and manufacturers of other cold storage components. The 2002 edition contains 76 pages, including listings of 87 contractor members and 79 supplier members located throughout Australia, Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States. Also included are a list of services and membership benefits, current IACSC leadership, past chairmen, a history/statement of purpose and information on how to become a member.
