IABC/Canada names Master Communicators.IABC/Canada has selected Glenna Cross, ABC ABC in full American Broadcasting Co. Major U.S. television network. It began when the expanding national radio network NBC split into the separate Red and Blue networks in 1928. , and Ken Cherney, ABC, APR APR See: Annual Percentage Rate , as the recipients of its prestigious Master Communicator Award. Inaugurated in 1980, the Master Communicator Award is IABC/Canada's highest communication award. Cross and Cherney were chosen in recognition of the excellence of their communication work, their outstanding service to and leadership in IABC IABC International Association of Business Communicators IABC Indo-Americans for Better Community , and their contribution to and thoughtful leadership in the communication profession. Recipients are nominated nom·i·nate tr.v. nom·i·nat·ed, nom·i·nat·ing, nom·i·nates 1. To propose by name as a candidate, especially for election. 2. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor. and selected by their peers, with up to two members being recognized each year, one from each of the two IABC/Canada districts. The Master Communicator Award is a lifetime designation. |
