Readiris Pro 10 is a powerful productivity booster for use with flatbed scanners, "all-in-one" devices and digital cameras. With unprecedented speed and accuracy, the software uses OCR to "retype" scanned documents and image files and also converts PDF files into editable text, while maintaining the original document layout. --Microsoft WordML Output: the product now supports the new Microsoft WordML format to generate richer editing and formatting of documents than standard RTF.

--Comprehensive PDF Output: the product makes four types of PDF output available, including image over text, text over image and text or image only.

--Vibrant Color Output Files: colored text, backgrounds and graphics are fully reproduced within the product, enabling users to recreate the look and feel of original documents with great style and accuracy.

--Powerful Bar Code Recognition: for documents containing bar codes, the product will take the bar codes' embedded information and retype it in the output file.

--New Input Formats: the product reads most popular image formats and can also open and recognize the highly compressed JPEG 2000 and DjVu formats.

--Advanced PDF Generation: exceptional tools that enable users to create PDFs with optimized file size.

--Easy Separation of Batches into Several Documents: when scanning batches, users can insert a blank page between different documents; Readiris Pro 10 separates them, recognizes and saves them into a different output file.

--Powerful Indexing Based on Bar Code Reading: users are able to separate documents with blank pages followed by a page containing bar codes. More than 20 bar codes are automatically recognized and the embedded information is saved in an XML index.
