I.I.S. INTELLIGENT INFORMATION SYSTEM LIMITED REPORTS SECOND QUARTER RESULTS

 HAIFA, Israel, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- I.I.S. Intelligent Information Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: IISLF) today reported results for its second quarter ended June 30, 1993. For the second quarter, revenues were $31,578,000, up 181 percent from $11,253,000 in the comparable quarter, last year. Net income increased 174 percent to $4,390,000, or $.35 per share, up from $1,604,000, or $.13 per share, in the comparable quarter, last year.
 For the six months ended June 30, 1993, revenue increased 147 percent to $53,154,000 from $21,511,000 in the comparable period, last year. Net income increased 149 percent to $7,403,000, or $.58 per share, compared with $2,974,000, or $.24 per share, in the year-ago period.
 "The quarterly results reflect the first full quarter of combined IIS and Decision Data operations. We continue to move the company into expanding technology markets as we further integrate the two operations." said Jacob Herbst, I.I.S.'s chairman and chief executive officer.
 Thomas S. Bednarik, chairman and president of IIS Inc. went on to say, "We have successfully completed the incorporation of the Decision Data business into IIS Inc. With the combined resources of both companies we are providing our customers with a complete range of solutions, from intelligent peripherals to sophisticated networking products."
 I.I.S. Intelligent Information Systems Limited designs, develops, manufactures, markets and services communication, networking and intelligent peripheral products providing access to a variety of hosts, local area networks and wide area networks within the large and midrange IBM and DEC environments. The company services an international customer base and does business in the United States as Lee Data and Decision Data, divisions of IIS Inc.
