I.A. Englander Launches Independent Equity Research Product; Seth B. Novatt Appointed as Executive Vice President to Oversee New Division.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2004

I.A. Englander & Co., a premier equity and derivatives brokerage firm, has launched Englander Research to provide independent research services for institutions and hedge funds. Seth B. Novatt, formerly Managing Director of CIBC World Markets CIBC World Markets is the investment banking division of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. It helps governments, large companies, and other large institutions obtain capital and credit and is a primary dealer in U.S. Treasury securities. , was appointed Executive Vice President of the new division.
