TRIKES are great vehicles for disabled riders.

, they are increasingly popular for those who either can't, or prefer not to, ride a motorbike.

But now, trike insurance specialist Bikesure is to offer cover those disabled trikers on a provisional Temporary; not permanent. Tentative, contingent, preliminary.

A provisional civil service appointment is a temporary position that fills a vacancy until a test can be properly administered and statutory requirements can be fulfilled to make a permanent appointment.

"We insure a growing number of disabled riders and drivers," says Robert Balls at Bikesure.

"They make fewer claims than able-bodied policy holders, so it makes no logical sense for them to be discriminated against in this way."
