Hyundai E&C wins $717 mln plant order from Libya.

Summary: Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co won ($717.3 million) order to build a thermal power plant in Libya Libya (lĭb`ēə), officially Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahirya [state of the masses], republic (2005 est. pop. 5,766,000), 679,358 sq mi (1,759,540 sq km), N Africa.  

Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co has racked up a 669.9 billion won ($717.3 million) order to build a thermal power plant in Libya, the South Korean Korean, language of uncertain ancestry. It is thought by some scholars to be akin to Japanese, by others to be a member of the Altaic subfamily of the Ural-Altaic family of languages (see Uralic and Altaic languages), and by still others to be unrelated to any known  company said on Wednesday. The order was placed by Libyan public utility GECOL GECOL General Electric Company of Libya , Hyundai said in a filing with the Korea Exchange Korea Exchange (KRX) was created through the integration of the three existing Korean spot & futures exchanges (Korea Stock Exchange, Korea Futures Exchange & KOSDAQ) under the Korea Stock & Futures Exchange Act. . Construction will last 52 months.
