Hyperion Launches Certification Program; Financial Administrators, Developers and Implementation Consultants Now Can Earn Recognition as Experts on World's Leading Business Performance Management Solutions.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- As more customers than ever embrace solutions from Hyperion (Nasdaq:HYSL), the global leader in Business Performance Management (BPM) software, the company today announced a new program to certify individuals as experts on the world's leading BPM products.

The Hyperion Certification Program establishes a structured process by which BPM professionals are trained, tested and ultimately recognized as Hyperion Certified Developers, Administrators, Consultants, and Solutions Architects. The new multi-tiered program offers three levels of certification on core Hyperion products.

The Hyperion Certified Developer (HCD) and Hyperion Certified Administrator (HCA), which comprise the first level in the three-level program, provide the first step in establishing baseline product knowledge in solution development and administration.

The second level, the Hyperion Certified Consultant (HCC), recognizes advanced technical knowledge and validates the ability of specialists to successfully implement Hyperion applications and products to meet a variety of configurations and business process flows.

The third and highest level is Hyperion Certified Solutions Architect (HCSA), which endorses highly skilled specialists to design, architect and lead Hyperion implementations.

Preparation for certification involves attending Hyperion's standard training, in addition to obtaining hands-on field experience. The HCA and HCD certification are administered by Hyperion, while testing for HCC and HCSA designation is administered in a proctored environment by Thomson Prometric.
