HyperSecur Corporation Signs Letter of Intent With Doctors Hospital Health System Limited; Card-Based Security and Data System Planned.

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1999--

HyperSecur Corporation (OTCBB:HYURA) announced today that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Doctors Hospital Health System Limited ("DHHS", BISX trading symbol: currently pending), Nassau, The Bahamas, to develop and implement a "state-of-the-art" medical information system. The system will incorporate the use of electronic files, secure card-based identification and authentication functions to facilitate remote access by healthcare providers, insurance companies and other authorized healthcare professionals.

Mr. Charles P. Villeneuve, President and Chairman said: "Doctors Hospital has granted HyperSecur full access to their facility to develop a state-of-the-art secure healthcare information system. The system to be developed for Doctors Hospital will become an important HyperSecur product incorporating our HyperProximity(tm) technology. This healthcare information and security product could be marketed to other hospitals and clinics worldwide. The HyperSecur concept originated in the Bahamas and I am delighted that the first developmental contract was signed in the Bahamas."

HyperSecur will prepare a preliminary letter of recommendation to DHHS for the purpose of defining the scope of the project. A definitive binding contract will need to be executed. Both parties have agreed that any software developed by HyperSecur in connection with this information system will be the property of HyperSecur. HyperSecur will pay DHHS, a yet to be determined, royalty on the sale of that software.
