Hydrogeologist Douglas Cowin joins Geraghty & Miller, Inc. in Milwaukee.


MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1995--Douglas K. Cowin has joined Geraghty & Miller's Milwaukee Office as a Project Geologist.

He recently transferred from the firm's Chicago office where he has worked since 1991.

Cowin will provide RCRA RCRA Resource Conservation & Recovery Act of 1976
RCRA Resort and Commercial Recreation Association
 and CERCLA CERCLA Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (aka SuperFund)  support, and he brings the total Wisconsin staff complement to more than 35, including engineers, air specialists, hydrogeologists, regulatory specialists, and other professionals.

Cowin has more than six years of experience in environmental investigations, most recently focusing on RCRA Closures and Superfund Remedial Investigations. Prior to joining Geraghty & Miller, he was a project manager for a former USEPA USEPA United States Environmental Protection Agency  contractor, in charge of coordinating all supporting activities for RCRA and CERCLA sites.

Cowin is a member of the National Ground Water Association and is affiliated with the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, and the Chicago Chapter of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. He received his B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Illinois University of Illinois may refer to:
