HydroMaid International Inc. (OTCBB: HYII) attended the Kitchen & Bath Business Industry Show ("Show") held in Chicago, April 7 - 9.

The Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world. This year's Show saw record attendance with over 42,000 registered distributors and plumbing representatives from around the globe. The Show catered to exhibitors with products that had specific application for kitchens and bathrooms.

"The Show was the best show we have ever attended," stated Culley W. Davis, chief executive officer of HydroMaid. "Having won the 'Innovative Product of the Year' Award along with a great location on the front row at one of the main entrances contributed to our success at the Show."

Show attendees were able to see and experience a live demonstration of the HydroMaid(TM) every 30 minutes. The demonstration featured a side-by-side comparison between an electric disposal and the HydroMaid. TV cameras were positioned above both the electric disposal and the HydroMaid allowing attendees to see down inside both units during the demonstration.

After putting nutshells, chicken bones, metal bottle caps and soft drink bottles through the HydroMaid, the electric disposal proved to be no match for the HydroMaid. Crowds were awestruck as spoons and a crescent wrench were put into the HydroMaid without damaging the spoons, wrench or HydroMaid, demonstrating the HydroMaid's amazing engineering and durability.

During each demonstration, the HydroMaid's booth was filled with capacity crowds that overflowed into the isles. Because of the five television screens located in the booth, each attendee could see and here the demonstration.

HydroMaid officials announced they would be sending pictures from the trade show out to current stockholders along with a brochure introduced at the Show. The new brochure was produced in response to a negative piece of literature which In-Sink-Erator, the largest manufacture of electric garbage disposals, sent out a few months ago concerning HydroMaid.

"I think our stockholders will enjoy reading some additional facts about how our HydroMaid compares on energy issues with electric disposals," said Davis.

At the Show, HydroMaid was invited to attend a special awards ceremony sponsored by Home Magazine where they received an award for being one of the "Top 10" products at the Show. Ron LaFord, president of HydroMaid and Ron Turner, vice president of sales, were present to accept the trophy and plaque from Home Magazine on behalf of HydroMaid.

Home and Garden TV ("HGTV") interviewed Davis and videotaped various features and benefits of the HydroMaid. The taping took place in HydroMaid's new millennial booth and will be part of a program being produced to air nationally and internationally.

HGTV will air the HydroMaid product on "What's New," hosted by Joan Kohn, to an estimated audience of up to 60 million homes worldwide. The program is scheduled to air twice daily on May 14 and 17, with an additional airing on May 20. The program is also scheduled to air again during the month of September.

HydroMaid officials were very pleased with the awards and television taping, but feel the best benefits of the Show were the numerous international contacts made. During the next two weeks more than 1,000 packets of information will be sent throughout the world to show attendees requesting the opportunity to carry HydroMaid as one of their product lines.

Representatives from Europe, South America, the Middle East, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Africa all felt that the HydroMaid could be successfully marketed in their countries. HydroMaid officials are carefully considering attending a few international tradeshows to generate additional international exposure.
