Hyatt opens the largest casino in Europe in Thessaloniki, Greece.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 1996--Hyatt International is pleased to announce the grand opening of Regency Casino Thessaloniki in Greece.

The announcement was made by Bernd Chorengel, president of the corporation.

 & Goo was responsible for the design. The complex is built in a neo-classical Macedonian design embellished with traditional and decorative motifs combining elements of the Byzantine era and that of a more contemporary style.

Thessaloniki, today the capital of the Greek state of Macedonia, is located on the northern shores of the Aegean Sea Aegean Sea, Gr.
