hydrogen generation systems and supply solutions, announced today that it has been awarded the contract to supply a hydrogen fuel generation system to SunLine Sunline (b. 1995) is a New Zealand thoroughbred mare regarded as one of the great racing mares in Australasian racing history. She raced on 48 occasions for 32 wins, 9 seconds and 3 thirds, amassing an amazing $11,351,607, making her the world's second highest earning female  Transit Agency based in Thousand Palms, Calif. SunLine is the first public transit agency to launch a hydrogen generation facility and is focused on continuing advancements toward alternate fueled transportation.

The purchase of HyRadix's Adeo(TM) on-site hydrogen fuel generator generator, in electricity, machine used to change mechanical energy into electrical energy. It operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction, discovered (1831) by Michael Faraday.  will enable SunLine to meet its plans of increasing the size of its hydrogen bus fleet over the next few years. The new hydrogen generation system will be delivered and fully operational in July 2006.

"The commercial demand for hydrogen as a fuel will continue to rise due to its many benefits, and SunLine is proud to be at the forefront of using alternative fuels which provide economic and environmental benefits throughout this region," said Mikel Oglesby, SunLine General Manager.

"HyRadix is pleased to provide our reliable and proven Adeo hydrogen generation system to SunLine. We look forward to continuing to be a part of the efforts in leading the field in hydrogen-fueled transportation," said HyRadix CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and President Robert L. Gray, Jr. "Applications for on-site hydrogen production Hydrogen production is commonly completed from hydrocarbon fossil fuels via a chemical path. Hydrogen may also be extracted from water via biological production in an algae bioreactor, or using electricity (by electrolysis) or heat (by thermolysis); these methods are presently not  are increasing in a variety of industries, and our proprietary technology and systems are meeting this demand globally."

HyRadix will install the Adeo system in less than two months at the Thousand Palms facility, which meets SunLine's immediate requirements for additional on-site hydrogen production. HyRadix will provide service to maintain the unit for six years.

About SunLine Transit Agency

Established in 1977 and based in Thousand Palms, CA, SunLine Transit Agency has emerged as one of the nation's leaders in embracing and promoting the use of clean-fuel for public transit. From 2000 to the present, SunLine has demonstrated three versions of heavy-duty hydrogen hybrid fuel cell buses with great success. In April 2000, SunLine launched its hydrogen generation facility, a first for a public transit agency. The facility has produced hydrogen by reforming natural gas and converting solar and wind energy through electrolysis electrolysis (ĭlĕktrŏl`əsĭs), passage of an electric current through a conducting solution or molten salt that is decomposed in the process. . SunLine Transit Agency delivers more than 28 million passenger miles per year, with 647 bus stops throughout a service area of 1,120 square miles A square mil is a unit of area, equal to the area of a square with sides of length one mil. A mil is one thousandth of an international inch. This unit of area is usually used in specifying the area of the cross section of a wire or cable. . SunLine's entire fleet consists of alternate fueled vehicles, using compressed natural gas Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a substitute for gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel. It is considered to be an environmentally "clean" alternative to those fuels. It is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed by methane (CH4 , as well as a state-of-the-art hydrogen fuel cell electric bus.
