HyPerformix Announces SES/Workbench 4.0.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 2001

from the 38th Annual Design Automation Conference -- HyPerformix Inc. (formerly SES), a leader in predictive simulation modeling, today announced a new version of its popular discrete-event simulation modeling product used to perform functional verification and performance analysis of hardware, software and applications.

"This major release of SES/workbench reinforces our commitment to the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) market," stated Dr. Bruce Huang, SVP and Chief Strategist of HyPerformix. SES/workbench is used to design complex systems involving a high-degree of concurrent processing, such as computers, software such as database management systems, large communications networks, bus interfaces and communications protocols, microprocessors, ASICs, ICs, and network interconnects such as high-speed switches and routers.

SES/workbench 4.0 delivers several new features as well as unifying the code base for Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Solaris into a single product. Some of the new and enhanced features include, simulation animation enhancements, Web access from within the product, graphical model views, a model documentation generator, zoom in/zoom out enhancements, improved printing features, new licensing features, and a contemporary look and feel for Solaris users.

Hundreds of global 2000 companies use SES/workbench to design and validate the performance of components, systems and applications. The performance assurance provided by this product saves millions of dollars in design and testing costs. Lockheed Martin has used SES/workbench for many years.
