Hutchison 3G Selects ADC as Billing Services Provider; Singl.eView to Enable Multimedia Content and Transactions Management.

Hutchison 3G UK Limited (`Hutchison 3G'), holder of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System license for the largest block of spectrum for the U.K. and ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com), a leading global supplier of fiber optics, network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, announced today they have entered into an agreement to deploy Singl.eView, part of ADC's Singularit.e operations support systems (OSS) suite.

Hutchison 3G UK will deploy ADC's Singl.eView Convergent Billing system to support its multimedia services including voice, data, e-mail, and information services. The system will initially be implemented in Italy and then the U.K. and later made available in every country where Hutchison Whampoa has 3G interests. Singl.eView's innovative billing/rating and transaction management capabilities combined with ADC's broad expertise in developing billing solutions were key factors in its selection.

With 3G, a variety of services will be available through a single source including content providers, advertisers, financial institutions, and other institutions. Singl.eView supports this value chain by handling multi-party settlement and partner relationship management, providing real-time tracking based on product, customer, market, segment, or partner.
