Hurricane relief.


Many of you have been asking how Scholastic is contributing to the Hurricane Katrina Editing of this page by unregistered or newly registered users is currently disabled due to vandalism.  relief effort. To address the critical need for assistance, the company will make an immediate donation of $100,000 to the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  Disaster Relief Fund and will match employee contributions to the Fund. In addition, Scholastic is working with appropriate agencies, and will make in-kind in-kind

Recognizing that teachers and students throughout the country also want to help, Scholastic will coordinate school-based initiatives through its Book Fairs and Book Clubs that will result in extensive donations of books during the long recovery and rebuilding period ahead.
