Huntington beach. (California).

California's Riviera is getting ready for a resort like no other. Construction has begun on the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa (formerly the Hilton Grand Coast Resort), where all 519 rooms will boast panoramic Pacific views when the property opens in January 2003.

To ensure its prominent position as an oceanfront conference center, the Hyatt Regency will offer 52,000 square feet of meeting space to expertly serve the needs of business travelers and planners alike. The centerpiece of this space is a 20,000-Square-foot ballroom that will accommodate up to 2,000 people; it's adjoined by a terrace overlooking the water and 15,000 square feet of lawn specifically designed with outdoor events in mind.

Additional facilities will include two ocean-view ballrooms of 6,300 and 3,300 square feet, an 11,000-square-foot exhibition space with 16-foot ceilings, and beautifully appointed accommodations sure to satisfy meeting participants. And with more than eight miles of stunning sandy coastline, Huntington Beach offers a variety of recreational activities, most notably surfing and sunset walks on the popular pier.
