Hungary grips yet another.

One more of the latest C version Gripen multi-role fighters was delivered to the Hungarian Air Force following its two-hour delivery flight from FMV's facility outside Linkoping, Sweden. This brings the total number of Gripens in Hungary's fleet to nine out of the 14 originally ordered. The remaining five aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by December 2007. Hungary, the third nation to receive the Gripen after Sweden and the Czech Republic, will receive the latest C and D versions, which are equipped with full-colour cockpit displays, retractable air-to-air refuelling probe and are fully Nato-interoperable. At the same time as the new aircraft delivery, a two-seater Gripen was returned to Hungary after receiving a planned software upgrade in Sweden.
