"In Putt-Putt Travels Through Time Putt-Putt Travels Through Time was a Humongous Entertainment Junior Adventure for ages 3 to 8 originally released in 1997. It was the fourth adventure released by the company based on the character Putt-Putt, and featured the voice of Jason Ellefson as Putt-Putt. , we chose to create interactive worlds that totally fascinate kids -- from the Age of the Dinosaurs to Medieval Times, the Old West and the Future," said game co-designer Nick Mirkovich.

Putt-Putt's dog Pep, Smokey the Fire Engine lunch box, calculator and history report are accidentally pulled into Mr. Firebird's Time Machine. Kids must help Putt-Putt travel through time to find Pep and his school supplies and return them to the present so that Mr. Firebird can close the Time Machine.

"During their search, kids travel back and forth between places in time to solve problems and help new friends. Every game is full of new surprises. As in Freddi Fish(tm) 2 and Pajama Sam(tm), items needed to complete the game are found in different places every time kids play," said Putt-Putt Travels Through Time co-designer Matt Mahon.

Ride Toby the Train to Gold River and see what pans out when you visit prospector Silverado Sam, or stop at Hubcap Hill to explore an old ghost town. The desert is full of animal tracks that challenge pattern recognition skills and can lead to surprising discoveries.

Future -- Floating cars, teleporters and robots are just a few of the surprises in the future. Art T. Fact might show you a useful item from the past in the museum. Platform, Availability and System Requirements

Putt-Putt Travels Through Time is available on hybrid CD-ROM for Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and Macintosh for $39.95 at retail stores everywhere, through secure online transactions at www.humongous.com, or by phone at (800) 499-8386.

Windows system requirements: A 33MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  486 (or faster) PC system with 8 MB of RAM, Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, an SVGA (Super VGA) A screen resolution of 800x600 pixels. Third-party vendors extended IBM's VGA display standard and were the first to use the term. SVGA has also referred to 1,024x768 resolutions. Putt-Putt's History

Putt-Putt was originally created by Shelley Day in 1990 as a bedtime story for her son. In 1992, the lovable purple car starred in the first of his award-winning Junior Adventure games, Putt-Putt Joins the Parade(tm), soon followed by Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon(tm). Newsweek's October 1995 review of Putt-Putt's most recent adventure said, "Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo was a Humongous Entertainment Junior Adventure for ages 3 to 8 released in 1995.
