Humanitarian worker Aga Khan dies.
Sadruddin died in a hospital in Boston, said Nasir Sunderji, an official of the Geneva-based Bellerive foundation, an environmental organisation that Sadruddin headed.
Sadruddin, of Iranian origin, was UN High Commissioner for Refugees between 1965 and 1977. After that he held a series of other senior UN roles and was once tipped for the UN secretary general job.
