Human Resource Executive Magazine today announced the conference details for the 6th Annual HR Technology Conference & Exposition.

This year, the event called "the best HR technology show in the industry" by HR.com, is being held October 8-10, 2003, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center The Pennsylvania Convention Center is a multi-use public facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which is designed to accommodate conventions, exhibitions, conferences and other events.  in Philadelphia.

Created by HR experts and delivered by senior HR executives, the 2003 conference focuses on delivering ROI to attendees with sessions designed specifically to help save their companies money and increase revenues.

It features three keynote presentations. Opening the event on October 8, 2003, is Dr. Edward E. Lawler III, named by BusinessWeek as one of the top six management gurus. He is a distinguished professor, Marshall School of Business The Marshall School of Business (also known as USC Marshall School of Business) is the business school at the University of Southern California. It is the largest of USC's 17 professional schools. The current Dean is James G. Ellis. , University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission , and the author of Creating a Strategic Human Resources The fancy word for "people." On Thursday, October 9, 2003, Dave Kieffer, worldwide partner, Mercer HR Consulting and author of Play to Your Strengths, slated for publication by McGraw-Hill in fall 2003, will present a discussion of the new management science for determining which HR practices drive business results.

The closing keynote on Friday, October 10, 2003, is Kathleen S. Barclay, vice president of Global Human Resources, General Motors Corp.
