Hudson Technologies appoints Charles Dunleavy vice-president, operations.


HILLBURN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1996--Hudson Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:HDSN) Friday announced the appointment of Charles Dunleavy to the newly created position of vice-president, operations.

Dunleavy, 51, will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and coordinating resource allocation from all of the company's seven locations. Dunleavy is a veteran certified public accountant Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

An accountant who has met certain standards, including experience, age, and licensing, and passed exams in a particular state.

Dunleavy was hired by Refrigerant Reclamation Corporation of America in 1993 to assist with the financial restructuring of the then-bankrupt company. At RRCA, he developed a plan of reorganization, designed and implemented a new budgeting and reporting system and developed a new business plan which enabled the company to emerge from bankruptcy on a profitable basis, all within eight months of his arrival.

Prior to joining RRCA, Dunleavy spent 3 years as a managing partner at BDO Seidman, and more than 18 years as a partner at Deloitte & Touche, specializing in cost reduction, management consulting, strategic planning, the development of business plans, and merger and acquisition work. Dunleavy also spent two years as chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Hudson Technologies was founded in 1991 and conducts nationwide refrigerant management and service programs from facilities in New York, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Nevada, North Carolina and Louisiana. The company is equipped for the recovery and reclamation of all refrigerants currently in use, such as ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), which are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), independent agency of the U.S. government, with headquarters in Washington, D.C.
