Major features of the remodeling include a new fitness center, outdoor Lakefront Pavilion and Gazebo gazebo Lookout in the form of a turret, cupola (small, lanternlike dome), or garden house set on a height to give an extensive view. Few late-18th- and 19th-century rustic gazebos survive, but 17th-century turrets built up in an angle of the garden wall are not uncommon. . The Grand Ballroom seats up to 250 guests banquet style or 350 theater style, making it ideal for weddings or conferences. Additionally, business functions and smaller discussion groups can be accommodated in any of eight refurbished meeting rooms which seat anywhere from 10 to 350 attendees.
