Hubbert Hornsby.

Jane Burgundy Hubbert and W Fred "Dub" Hornsby III were united in marriage in a beachside ceremony on April 22, 2006. Vows Were exchanged just before sunset on Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Gaylon Brooks Hubbert II of Pensacola, Florida and Mrs. Kaye Clark Scarpone of Gulfport. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gene Clark and the late Ms. Bonnie Clark, all of Laurel, and Mrs. Gaylon Brooks Hubbert and the late Mr. Hubbert, both of Quitman.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W Fred Hornsby II of Biloxi. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dubaz, the late Mr. Alexander Gombos, Mrs. Warren Hornsby, and the late Mr. Hornsby, all of Biloxi.

The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory silk razmire. The ruched bodice was embellished with jeweled crystal accents defining the midriff with a slight dropped waistline. The A-line skirt flowed into a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of peonies, ranunculus, Webber tulips, Vanity roses, and cymbidium orchids wrapped in ivory French ribbon accentuated with pearl studs. Tucked beneath the bouquet was her maternal grandmother's heirloom handkerchief and tied in were four silver lockets holding pictures of the bride and groom's late grandparents.

Sophie Nord and Maureen Dorgan served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Melanie Brown, Catherine Leech Kahlstorf, Brittany McDonald, Alexandra Hornsby Smith, and Whitney Waddell. Attending as junior bridesmaid was Gabrielle Brighton Bell. Haley Gamis served as the flower girl.

W Fred Hornsby II, father of the groom, and Mark Watts served as best men. Groomsmen were Brill Bernich, Gregory Hornsby, Benjamin Hubbert, Brooks Hubbert, Judson McMillin, and David Neumann. Zach Wade served as the ring bearer. Ushers for the ceremony were Robert Boomer Louys and Joel Moody. Greeters were Debbe Smith and Dix Nord. The Scriptures were read by Sarah Manning and Marti McKay.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Royal Flush. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom entertained guests with a rehearsal dinner at Beach Walk in Crystal Beach. Earlier in the day, a bridesmaids' luncheon was hosted at Zamperini's in the Destin Yacht Club. Pictures of the luncheon were featured in the summer issue of Destin magazine.

After a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple is at home in Biloxi, where the bride is an art teacher for the Gulfport School District and the groom is an attorney at Brown Buchanan Sessoms Attorneys at Law and also serves as City Prosecutor for the City of D'Iberville.
