Howmet to open new Mexican facility.


Howmet Castings Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Howmet, a division of Alcoa is a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine (IGT) engine components.  (Alcoa Alcoa

In subsequent phases of the project, Howmet de Mexico will expand its capability to offer investment cast aluminum components. Longhi said that machining will be among the first services established in Mexico, and the proximity to other Howmet operations will aid in technical and manufacturing assistance.
