Howmet doubles level of involvement with Navy missile program.


Howmet Castings Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Howmet, a division of Alcoa is a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine (IGT) engine components.  (Alcoa, Inc.), Darien, Connecticut Darien is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. , has doubled its level of participation in the U.S. Navy's Tactical Tomahawk tomahawk [from an Algonquian dialect of Virginia], hatchet generally used by Native North Americans as a hand weapon and as a missile.
