TORY Michael Howard

Michael Howard QC (born 7 July 1941) is a British politician, a Conservative MP since the 1983 General Election for the constituency of Folkestone and Hythe.
 fired the starting gun for the leadership race yesterday as he formally resigned as party leader.

Nominations opened for candidates to replace Howard after he submitted a letter of resignation to the 1922 Committee of Tory MPs.
