The September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon prompted an outpouring of volunteers and donations. But you don't have to be in New York New York, state, United States

* KEEP UP NORMAL ACTIVITIES. Show your faith in the U.S. economy by continuing to shop and buy as usual. It is the largest part of aggregate demand or effective demand at the macroeconomic level.  is still the major fuel for America's economic engine.

* DON'T RUSH THE BANKS. Your money is safe where it is, so continue withdrawing cash as you normally would: don't hoard it at home.

* TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. Cutting your use of electricity and natural gas helps to stabilize stabilize

* GET POLITICAL. Tell the government how you think the U.S. should or shouldn't respond to the terrorist attacks. You can contact your representatives by mail, by phone, or by surfing your way to www.congress.org.

* TAKE A STAND AGAINST HATE. This tragedy is not the fault of ordinary Arab-Americans, so don't blame them, or any other minority. Recognize that people of every religion and ethnicity ethnicity Vox populi Racial status–ie, African American, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic  are in pain.
