How to send war letters.

Byline: The Register-Guard

To accommodate the large number of letters about the U.S.-led war against Iraq, we plan to publish periodic special packages of letters about the conflict. Unlike normal Mailbag submissions, these should be no more than 75 words - brief and to the point. Letters must be signed with the writer's full name. An address and daytime telephone number are needed for verification purposes (this information will not be published or released).

All letters are subject to editing. Because of the anticipated volume, we will be unable to publish all submissions. Letters should be sent by e-mail to RGLetters@guardnet.com, faxed to 338-28-28 or sent to Mailbag, P.O. Box 10188, Eugene, OR 97440-2188.
