HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 5, 2001

For the 10th consecutive year, Houston will host the Texas Plant Engineering & Maintenance Show and Material Handling/Packaging and Logistics Show (TPEM 01') on Wednesday October 3rd and Thursday October 4th at Reliant Hall (formerly Astrohall).

The trade show and conferences are designed to provide a forum for engineering professionals and maintenance management as well as distribution/warehouse managers to explore the wide range of products and services available to keep plant/warehouse operations running more efficiently.

Occupying over 10,000 square feet of exhibit space, over 70 companies will be displaying the latest equipment & technologies such as HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) In the home or small office with a handful of computers, HVAC is more for human comfort than the machines. In large datacenters, a humidity-free room with a steady, cool temperature is essential for the trouble-free  equipment, conveyors, compressors & pumps, automation & controls, forklifts, corrosion control, shelving shelv·ing
