Houston, Texas: SpaceCity offers infinite possibilities for meetings.

Meeting space

A recent $165 million expansion project virtually doubled the size of the George R. Brown Convention Center The George R. Brown Convention Center was opened on September 26, 1987 on the east side of downtown Houston. The center was named for the prominent Houstonian George R. Brown, an entrepreneur, civic leader and philanthropist.  to nearly 1.2 million net square feet of exposition, meeting, and registration space.

The new Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel has 1,200 guest rooms, meeting and retail space, and skywalks to the George R. Brown Convention Center: West of downtown. The Ascot at Town and Country is a mixed-use facility with a new state-of-the-art banquet center and approximately 30,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space. The Central Business District contains 5,000 hotel rooms. An additional 50,000 hotel rooms are located within the metropolitan area. Reliant Center, located in Reliant Park and close to the medical center area, has more than 1.2 million square feet of exposition and meeting space. Reliant Stadium is the world's first retractable-roof NFL stadium and has 69,500 seats.

Downtown space

Houston's NBA winning franchise, the Houston Rockets, has moved to Toyota Center, a new downtown arena that boasts the city's largest escalator. One of the finest baseball parks in America, Minute Maid Park Coordinates:

The Downtown Aquarium, an underwater dining and entertainment adventure, features 500,000 gallons of marine life, several themed restaurants, a Ferris wheel, boardwalk, dancing fountains, and more. And at Bayou Place you can take in a movie, enjoy a cocktail, or dine at one of many restaurants.

Theater space

Houston is one of five cities in the United States with permanent professional resident companies in the four disciplines of the performing arts, including the Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera The Houston Grand Opera (HGO) is a Houston, Texas-based opera company. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game The Major League Baseball All-Star Game, also popularly known as the "Midsummer Classic", is an annual baseball game between players from the National League and the American League, currently selected by fan vote for the starting position players and by the respective managers  was at Minute Maid Park in July and Houston will host the Tennis Masters Cup The Tennis Masters Cup is a tennis tournament played annually at the end of each year, involving the top eight players in the men's tennis world rankings.

Unlike all the other events on the men's tour, the Tennis Masters Cup is not a straightforward knock-out tournament.
