House Committee approves postal reform bill.


The House Committee on Government Reform approved the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2004 (H.R. 4341) on May 12 by a unanimous vote. The bill now moves to the House floor for debate. And the Senate is expected to markup (text) markup - In computerised document preparation, a method of adding information to the text indicating the logical components of a document, or instructions for layout of the text on the page or other information which can be interpreted by some automatic system.  its own version of postal reform shortly.
