Hot melt additives.

Licocene represents high-performance polymers based on polyolefins and manufactured with the aid of metallocene catalysts Metallocene catalyst

A transition-metal atom sandwiched between ring structures having a well-defined single catalytic site and well-understood molecular structure used to produce uniform polyolefins with unique structures and physical properties.
. The Licocene family ranges from isotactic Isotactic polymers refer to those polymers formed by branched monomers that have the characteristic of having all the branch groups on the same side of the polymeric chain.  to completely amorphous polyolefins whose property profile can be determined precisely by a worldwide production process developed by the company. Numerous grades, such as TP Licocene PP 1502, 1602, 2602, 4202 or PE 4201, have been tailored especially for hot-melt applications in adhesives. These products are said to make it possible to determine the viscosity of hot-melt adhesives with great precision without affecting the desired properties like cohesion. Compared to conventional formulations, they are said to significantly improve the thermal properties of hot-melt adhesives. Even grafted modifications become more and more popular for hot-melt applications. These include TP Licocene PP SI 3262, a trimethoxyvinylsilane grafted polypropylene, or Licocene PP MA 1452, a polypropylene wax grafted with maleic anhydride Maleic anhydride (cis-butenedioic anhydride, toxilic anhydride, dihydro-2,5-dioxofuran) is an organic compound with the formula C4H2O3 (C=OCH=CHC=O2). In its pure state it is a colourless or white solid with an acrid odour.  that is currently under development. This emulsive e·mul·sion
