Hospitals to go smokefree.


ON WORLD Smokefree Day, May 31, all district health board hospitals --inside and within grounds--will go smoke free. The ruling will apply to all staff, patients, visitors and contractors, and follows the passing of the Smokefree Amendment Act 2003. This aims to prevent, as far as is reasonably practicable practicable adj. when something can be done or performed. , the detrimental det·ri·men·tal
