(excluding nursery) that are set up, staffed, equipped, and
in all respects, ready for use by patients remaining
in the hospital overnight.
(2) Licensed beds: the number of licensed beds (excluding
nursery) stated on the hospital license at the end of the
reporting period.
(3) For the 12 months ended Sept. 30.
(4) Doctors are not directly employed by hospitals, but
are given staff priveleges.
