Hospitalty Franchise announces deals

Hospitality Franchise Systems, Inc. announces that from January January: see month.  through April 1991, 72 franchise agreements were entered into by its two hotel chains, Ramada ra·ma·da

Twenty-seven agreements were entered into by Ramada Franchise Systems, Inc. and 45 by Howard Johnson Franchise Systems, Inc. Of the 45 Howard Johnson agreements, 28 are for its economy chain, HoJo Inns. Projections call for the opening of 100 HoJo Inns by year-end.

In the nine months since Hospitality Franchise Systems acquired the Ramada and Howard Johnson franchise systems, the two chains have signed a total of 187 properties. This number includes six new construction sites for Ramada, five for Howard Johnson and three for HoJo Inn.

There are more than 650 Ramada properties in 40 countries on five continents. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , Ramada Franchise Systems, Inc., has more than 550 inns, hotels and resorts with nearly 95,000 rooms.

Howard Johnson Franchise Systems, Inc., is a chain of nearly 475 hotels, suites, lodges and HoJo Inns throughout North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .
