Hospital's appeal for volunteers; GOOD HOPE.

SUTTON Coldfield's Good Hope Hospital has asked for volunteers prepared to give up some time for its new League of Friends.

The group will be responsible for organising a summer fete and helping to raise money for the hospital through fundraising activities.

Barbara Beal, hospital director, said: "The League of Friends is a fantastic way for the hospital to work together with people in the area.

"We want to work with people that are passionate about their local hospital and want to volunteer some time to support the hospital and the community.

"We have got lots of things planned for the group and are really excited to get started and we would encourage anyone interested in helping to come along to the open day to find out more about the group."

The open day will be held at Good Hope's Partnership and Learning Centre tomorrow at 6.30pm.
