Horse Racing: Moore's so merry.

LOGSDAIL gave the Moore family more than one reason to celebrate by taking the Goodwood Aviation Stakes yesterday.

The winner was trained by Gary Moore, who dashed off quickly to watch on television as his son Ryan partnered his first winner since returning from injury a couple of minutes later at Brighton.

Logsdail (7-2) was also on the mark here last time and George Baker produced him late to score cosily Co´si`ly

"That was perfect, it makes the job worthwhile," beamed Moore senior on his return.

"It was nice ground for Logsdail and maybe we'll have to bring him back for the Glorious meeting - there might be one race he can get in."

 Maiden Stakes. The 11-8 favourite, second here on his debut, took things along from the front and that is exactly where he stayed throughout and by the line Martin Dwyer Martin Dwyer (born June 28, 1975 in Aintree, Liverpool) is an English Derby winning flat racing jockey having won the 2006 Vodafone Derby upon Sir Percy.
