Shaffer, a graduate of Eckerd College Eckerd College is a private 4-year coeducational liberal arts college at the southernmost tip of St. Petersburg, Florida, in the Tampa Bay metropolitan area. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. in St. Petersburg, FL, brings with him over 14 years of experience in the golf industry. Before joining Reunion Golf & Country Club, he served as assistant general manager for the highly acclaimed Slammer A worm that caused a billion dollars worth of damage on the Internet on January 25, 2003. Slammer infected computers all over the Internet by generating random IP addresses and causing the computer's buffer to overflow with its own instructions that replicate itself and start the process & Squire and King & Bear golf courses at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL. Prior to that, Shaffer served as director of golf for The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL and Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, FL, respectively. He started his career at Jonathan's Landing in Jupiter, FL. Shaffer was recently awarded the "PGA (1) (Professional Graphics Adapter) An early IBM PC display standard for 3D processing with 640x480x256 resolution. It was not widely used.
